Fashion trends move at an exponential rate for each season. Your fashion stores must be able to cope with that. By coping with that, I mean moving your old stock as quick as possible. Once it comes to summer and customers are still seeing the winter fashion clothing, they are going to start questioning the reputation of your fashion store. It’s not difficult to see why your sales will decrease in that situation. This is why it is important that you have a rigid and clear plan for the future. You need to plan for the seasons accordingly.

Measurements

The biggest fashion stores are aware that one of the most important aspects of running the store, is knowing exactly what measurements are appropriate for the specific demographic.  There are a number of factors you must consider. You must consider that you will need a substantial stock. This means stocking up on more clothes than you actually need. You will also need to buy a lot more styles than you think you’ll need. On display you will need at least 50 different items of fashion clothing. In addition you need to display your most attractive items in the shop window. This is what makes customers actually want to go in and buy your clothing.

Sq Room Area

In retail, you need to cover the majority of the room space with stock. It needs to be packed. If you can walk into a fashion store and easily walk through the clothing stands, the store does not have enough stock. Most people don’t realize that most stores are completely filled with clothing that just satisfies the masses. You will be hard pressed to find ‘niche’ clothing in most conventional fashion stores.  This is the difference between low end and high end fashion stores. High end fashion stores have the money to have more floor space and they can afford to be much more selective about their clothing.

Changing Rooms Are Invaluable

This is where you can make the most amount of money with your fashion stores. When you have a changing room, it allows your customers to try the attire on. This increases conversions because they will already have the experience of wearing it.

Know When To Sell Your Stock

One trap a lot of small fashion stores fall into, is not being able to sell stock as quick as possible. As aforementioned, fashion trends move fast and you can easily be left behind. Sell them as soon as they are not fashionable.  You’re just losing out on money as it is.

Has the combination of American and Mexican cultures affected fashion inspirations? With Adrian Correa’s line, Two Movements, his inspiration comes from a symbol in the Aztec calendar.This two movement fashion is revolutionary  He seeks to combine it with the idea of all things that a person has that involve the number “2″, such as hands, eyes, legs. He goes further into the mystical aspect of viewing it with the idea of soul mates and so on. Here’s the twist, it all must have movement to it.

With his line and all the research he has done in Europe and Mexico with “underground street look”, he is trying to bring something new to El Paso. Of course, and in his own words, he is not trying to make his Women’s line look “Ho Chic” but rather “a street retro look”. Adrian describes his Men’s looks to be “ fragile….but yet something has to pop out of the coat and the accessories like a watch”.

Adrian created one unique accessory to pop out and intrigue wondering minds. His extravagant stacked glasses attempt to show people how they could look at his line through different points of view. He was inspired to create this look when he saw a man using two different pairs of glasses at the same time, both resting on his head; reading glasses and sunglasses. He thought it was strangely artistic to use two different types of glasses at the same time.

In a sense, we all do inspire each other in one way or another. All that should really matter is that you feel comfortable with your distinct look; plus, as long as you wear it with confidence, what does it matter what anybody else says? Is that not the basis of true fashion?

Flip-flops are something that should be part of every guy’s wardrobe.It doesn’t matter what season. The right flip-flop can be worn to a variety casual occasions. With an MSRP of $128.00, the most expensive flip flop that I tested out was the Coach Murph Flip-Flop.This flip-flop is perfect to be worn to special casual events like a roof top BBQ or a casual dinner outside. The colors available are green, blue, and red, so make sure it matches your attire. With the steep price of $128.00, it is an investment, and in my opinion worth it. The flip flop is comfortable and would look great with a pair of khaki or plaid shorts.

Next up is a great flip-flop from Diesel. This flip-flop is not only fashionable, but will go with almost anything you have. The Seaside Denim Flip-Flop (MSRP$60), is the choice for guys who wear jeans in spring. The cotton denim actually makes the flip-flop breathable for your feet and easy to care for. Toss them in the wash with your jeans!

Next on my list is a pair of Lacoste Tirage Flip-Flops (MSRP$ 58.95). This flip-flop is perfect for an outdoor BBQ, going to a local fair, or going to a downtown pub. Again, the price is steep for a flip flop, but I promise not to steer you wrong direction. The quality of stitching and fabric on Lacoste products is well worth the money Fashion tips from John Greed Jewellery. This sandal might not be appropriate for pool/beach side parties. Again, this flip flop can be worn with Plaid or Khaki shorts, and even a pair of jeans.

The fashion design industry is seen as the ‘dream’ for many young girls. Just as boys dreamed of becoming famous sportsmen, girls dreamed of becoming high-end fashion models. This is due to the reputation modelling has. Modelling is seen as the pinnacle in fashion. Female models are seen as the peak in femininity. There are season numbers, multi-million dollar dresses, flying around the world wearing some of the most beautiful designs known to man. It’s hard not to see why it’s a dream for many young girls. One aspect of modelling that routinely goes unnoticed is actual fashion design. Most people do not appreciate the amount of work that designers have to do to make the best clothes.  What is ironic is that on many TV adaptations you will see the designers stuck in a dark room 24/7 working on their designs. This isn’t the case. Fashion designing is an art. It is quite pressuring to have the entire demands of a fashion company resting solely on you.

This is what top-level designers must deal with. So for the people that thought this was going to be easy, it’s definitely not. It is extremely demanding, stressful and you will end up spending a lot of time in solitude. You might even go crazy. Designers really need to ‘reinvent the wheel’. Thinking inside the box in terms of fashion design is one of the worst things that you can do. The biggest reward of being a fashion designer is having your best work being showcased at premium fashion shows such as Milan, London and New York. This is the ‘made it’ moment for the abundance of designers. Just imagine seeing someone like top male model Baptiste Giabaconi modelling your suit that you spent 265 long hard days working on. It’s the ultimate euphoria.

Western fashion clothing styles come and go throughout the years, and when they are done right you can look truly fabulous go-to quick Western style is a great pair of cowboy boots. And, of course, no outfit (Western or not) is complete without the perfect accessories. Native-American inspired jewelry, belts, and purses are the perfect touch for a Western outfit, or purses with cowhide prints and leather detail. We all have fashion role models. Every single person on this planet who identifies with fashion will have been influenced some way or another through a fashion role model. Most people look to celebrities for their fashion influences. It’s not hard to see why in my opinion. Celebrities are always in the fashion news, they are setting the latest fashion trends and they are most definitely always in the public eye. It is their job to look good and conform to society’s demands. This is usually a great source of inspiration for fashion trends but some people such as Lady Gaga go way too far with their fashion choices so it would be wise to try and use them for inspiration.

The epitome of beautiful would be someone like Angelina Jolie. Again, she is nearly always in the fashion news. In fact her peak was probably around 2005 when she got involved with another fashion role model in Brad Pitt. As a result of this we saw her face plastered on every billboard and magazine. It was hard not for a lot women to use her as inspiration.  Her greatest feature is her elegance and she definitely dresses accordingly. This elegance is accentuated by the best in silk and satin dresses that she constantly wears on the red carpet. She is also the epitome of femininity when it comes to fashion. This subtle sophistication and poise from Angelina Jolie is juxtaposed with the next fashion role model.

Lady Gaga is one of the most if not the most popular female artist at the moment. She is no doubt a great musician and singer but her dress sense and style leaves a lot to be desired. Among her most daring of dress choices we have seen the American singer in a teacup dress, Dracula dress, dressed up a man etc. She really knows no boundaries when it comes to dressing profoundly. It has been reported that her fashion wear is solely a ‘character’ and she does not actually dress as outlandish in her free time. There have been pictures where she is dressed in a tracksuit and trainers while doing errands. Again this shows how celebrities sometimes are not in full control of their latest fashion trends.

For men they have fashion role models in Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham. Not only are these two of the most popular fashion role male models, they are two world class footballers. They can been seen wearing high end fashion wear such as Armani suits but also wearing casual clothing such a polo shirt and shorts. These men can pull off anything and there is a reason they both have headlined the Armani underwear range

Another man that men can get their fashion tips from is Brad Pitt. We all know about Brad Pitt’s looks but sometimes his style goes unnoticed. His subtle American charm transcends into his fashion wear as sometimes we can see him in a cowboy hat and plaid and then sometimes he’s seen wearing a suit and official trousers. Again these men can pull off a variety of styles due to their dashing looks so be careful when you try and imitate their latest fashion trends.
